Rachel (the organized one) is a bookkeeping queen with 20+ years of keeping businesses financially sane. SAIT dental program honors grad turned office management superstar with a personality that makes spreadsheets seem fun. Dave provides marketing support for the bookkeeping business.

​

Rachel has been helping businesses stay organized, balanced, and ahead of deadlines for nearly two decades. She knows that good bookkeeping is about more than numbers, it’s about creating calm in the chaos so business owners can actually focus on growing their business instead of worrying about whether the books are right.

​

Over the years, she has worked with small start-ups and established companies, taking care of everything from full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll to year-end prep and liaising with subcontractors and accountants. She has become fluent in QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Payworks, SharePoint, and industry-specific systems like Cortex/Open Invoice and GEP Smart. She still believes the most important tools are communication and attention to detail.

Rachel loves digging into reconciliations and finding that missing $10 (or $10,000) that throws a balance off. There's something satisfying about bringing messy books back into order.

​

Colleagues and clients often tell her they appreciate how approachable she is and how she explains things in plain language. She has always believed finances shouldn’t be intimidating. Her goal is to make it simple, clear, and stress-free, so her clients can make confident decisions.

Dave has wrestled Excel sheets and tamed wild social media accounts across Airdrie and Calgary (with occasional globe-trotting gigs when the mood strikes).

Dave is your go-to guy for turning "meh" into "WHOA" when it comes to snagging clients, polishing your reputation, and making your business pop on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and Google. Think of Dve as your business life coach with a side of brand steroids.

Dave cut his teeth managing corporate franchise marketing, fancy talk for "He's seen every marketing disaster imaginable and lived to tell the tale."

Dave has been creating content since before it was cool, staying hip with the kids while respecting the classics. Digital might wear the crown now, but we remember the ancient arts of handshakes and business cards.

Precision Motor Worx was a client for Willowbrook Consulting - marketing in Airdrie and Red Deer! Developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance the brands presence in Airdrie and Red Deer, drive business growth, manage their reputation, and ensure excellent customer service.

This position required a creative and analytical mindset with experience in social media content creation, business development, and reputation management.

​

I developed and executed social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Created, curated, and managed all published content (images, video, written) to engage and grow their audience.

Kingsley Air USA was also a client of Willowbrook Consulting. This was a start-up and I was brought on as the CMO to develop the brand and voice for this high-tech company.

I led a team of marketing professionals in developing social media strategies, content creation and curation, social media management, paid social media advertising, social media analytics and reporting.

Franchise Development Manager

ActionCOACH Canada

As a Franchise Development Manager at ActionCOACH Canada, I was responsible for spearheading the growth and expansion of our franchise network across Canada. I worked closely with all potential franchisees and coaches, guiding them through the franchise development process and providing support in their journey to becoming successful ActionCOACH business coaches.

I identified and qualified prospective franchisees, conducted franchisee discovery meetings, managed the franchise sales process, and provided ongoing support to new franchisees as they grow their business.

​

With strong sales and relationship-building skills, combined with an in-depth knowledge of franchising and business coaching, I helped attract and onboard talented coaching candidates who are passionate about helping businesses succeed.

VP of Marketing & Design
Joey's Group of Companies

As the VP of Marketing and Design, I was responsible for guiding all marketing for the Joey’s Seafood, Joey’s Fish Shack and strEATS Kitchen brands. Joey’s Fish Shack became the rebrand for Joey’s Seafood in 2021 and we were able to open and support 13 new Joey’s Fish Shacks during my time.

​

Marketing planning, budgeting, and execution of agreed-upon marketing plans were priorities. The VP was also responsible for image management for these brands, including social media posting, advertising and image management, generation of graphic and digital content messaging, and all customer-facing information materials including menus, menu boards, and in-house materials.

​

I created and coordinated all national promotional programs and campaigns to drive franchise partner revenue. Throughout, I continually evolved all company collateral material including menus, advertising, and franchising ads while managing public relations activities of all brands/companies.

​

Daily, I would support the needs of all franchise partners with on-call consulting for their marketing plans and strategies. This involved the management of 60 Facebook pages, 60 Google Business Pages, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.

​

This experience provided me with a solid understanding of Franchising, Marketing, Design, Print, Digital, and Social Media and an uncommon ability to develop a custom marketing strategy that any franchise partner can execute with success.

Senior New Home Sales Associate

This was a contract position to represent Devonian Properties to all potential owners/investors. This was a great job that allowed me to experience a different type of customer service.

​

Each sale allowed me to create relationships with the investors and cater to their needs and wants. Customizing their property and managing the rental of the property was a priority.

​

I created and maintained our client database and daily activity reports, trained and supported other sales staff. I managed all purchase contract documents, conveyance and ongoing purchaser support throughout the building process.

​

I would customize (including framing changes) interior design of individual owner’s suites Upgrades, change orders and all closing documentation, walkthroughs, in-house sales IT and computer troubleshooting. I’d also organize and attend all provincial trade shows and events.
