Hi, I am Dave Holland, a business coach and marketing professional with extensive hands-on managing teams, overseeing event and marketing operations, and executing innovative marketing and business strategies.

 

I specialize in a broad range of business practices, including client acquisition, and conversion, enhancing your business reputation, and maximizing your online presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and the newly renamed Google Business Manager. I help eliminate the chaos in your business and your life, all the while growing your personal brand.

 

With years of content creation, graphic design, video editing, and social media management in my pocket, I have remained at the forefront of all mediums, new and traditional.

 

Before digital became king, I honed my skills using traditional marketing techniques, building relationships through personal interactions, and providing guidance and direction in traditional marketing methods and strategies.

 

My time managing a corporate franchise marketing department equipped me with practical knowledge in leadership, digital marketing, analytics, social media marketing, people management, conflict management, channel marketing, and campaign management. Notice I didn't add SEO. Can't do it all ;)

Rachel has been doing books for more than 20 years. She enjoys all aspects of Office Administration, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Customer Service, and Reception.

In 1994, she graduated with honors from SAIT Dental Assisting program and has spent her early years as
 a Dental Office Administrator/Orthodontic Assistant. For the past 13+ years, Rachel has been managing the books for Finley Pipeline Inspection Services, primarily bookkeeping, payroll, benefit administration, and general office management.

She has a sunny disposition and a bubbly personality and is a total team player.

Time away from work is spent with our two beautiful girls. We love to go camping and ride our bikes in the summer! In the winter, we spend time skating and skiing.

As the Chief Marketing Officer for Kingsley Air USA, I lead a team of marketing professionals in developing social media strategies, content creation and curation, social media management, paid social media advertising, social media analytics and reporting, social media listening and sentiment analysis, Social media trend monitoring and innovation.

This was a start-up. Currently, I am a shareholder and final decision maker for marketing though I have little to do with the daily operation of the company.

Franchise Development Manager

ActionCOACH Canada

As the Franchise Development Manager at ActionCOACH Canada, I was responsible for spearheading the growth and expansion of our franchise network across Canada. I worked closely with all potential franchisees and coaches, guiding them through the franchise development process and providing support in their journey to becoming successful ActionCOACH business coaches.

I identified and qualified prospective franchisees, conducted franchisee discovery meetings, managed the franchise sales process, and provided ongoing support to new franchisees as they grow their business.

​

With strong sales and relationship-building skills, combined with an in-depth knowledge of franchising and business coaching, I helped attract and onboard talented coaching candidates who are passionate about helping businesses succeed.

VP of Marketing & Design
Joey's Group of Companies

The VP of Marketing was responsible for guiding all marketing for the Joey’s Seafood, Joey’s

Fish Shack and strEATS Kitchen brands. Joey’s Fish Shack became the rebrand for Joey’s Seafood in 2021 and we have been able to open and support 13 new Joey’s Fish Shacks since then.

Marketing planning, budgeting, and execution of agreed-upon marketing plans were priorities. The VP was also responsible for image management for these brands, including social media posting, advertising and image management, generation of graphic and digital content messaging, and all customer-facing information materials including menus, menu boards, and in-house materials.

​

I created and coordinated all national promotional programs and campaigns to drive franchise partner revenue. Throughout, I continually evolved all company collateral material including menus, advertising, and franchising ads while managing public relations activities of all brands/companies.

​

Daily, I would support the needs of all franchise partners with on-call consulting for their marketing plans and strategies. This involved the management of 60 Facebook pages, 60 Google Business Pages, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.

​

My experience has provided me with a solid understanding of Franchising, Marketing, Design, Print, Digital, and Social Media and an uncommon ability to develop a custom marketing strategy that any franchise partner can execute with success.

Senior New Home Sales Associate

This was a contract position to represent Devonian Properties to all potential owners/investors. This was a great job that allowed me to experience a different type of customer service.

Each sale allowed me to create relationships with the investors and cater to their needs and wants. Customizing their property and managing the rental of the property was a priority.

I created and maintained our client database and daily activity reports, trained and supported other sales staff. I managed all purchase contract documents, conveyance and ongoing purchaser support throughout the building process.

​

I would customize (including framing changes) interior design of individual owner’s suites Upgrades, change orders and all closing documentation, walkthroughs, in-house sales IT and computer troubleshooting. I’d also organize and attend all provincial trade shows and events.

River Trip Leader / Backcountry Guide

Seasonal employment...both summer and winter. I was a River Guide and a Snowmobile Guide for the best rafting and snowmobile company in Golden, BC. Our trips were run by experienced trip leaders year round. I was both a driving guide and a mountain guide. My customers would spend the full day with me which allowed me to get to know my customers well. 

 

I would greet Banff/Canmore hotel clients on a daily basis and provide them with an interpretive driving tour to and from British Columbia. I would guide them through Class 1 –5 whitewater (summer) and on backcountry winter snowmobile expeditions. Trained in rescue and first-aid services, I was able to provide these services as needed. 

​

I enjoyed being the liaison with Bow Valley Hotel industry members and International Tour Operators, training their guides in the Canadian experience. As a trip leader, I trained in water safety, rescue skills as well as day-tour management, which included organizing riverside barbeque lunch services for up to 120 clients daily. The company tripled in size during my time.
